What is Laser?

Laser is a debit card, introduced as an alternative to paying by cheque.

Laser cards enable customers to pay for goods and services in over 100,000 retail outlets in Ireland. The transaction amount is debited from the cardholder’s current account generally within a few days. Paying by Laser is faster, handier and safer than paying by cash or by cheque.
